Brave Little Company announces a new initiative, THE BIG "US" PROJECT, inviting children and adults in Houston's refugee communities to lead the creation of a large-scale, public performance piece to be shared with all of Houston in March 2019. Regardless of their level of artistic experience, participants of all ages will contribute to a performance that is truly reflective of our community. THE BIG "US" PROJECT is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.

BCCM to Honor The Ensemble Theatre's Artistic Director

Bayou City Concert Musicals will present the 2017 Kim Hupp Award to Eileen J. Morris, artistic director of The Ensemble Theatre. The award will be presented on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., on the Main Stage of The Ensemble Theatre, 3535 Main. The event, Serenading Eileen, will consist of a concert featuring some of the honoree's favorite songs and a reception immediately following the concert. Tickets are $75 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit Bayou City Concert Musicals.
