Stage Door, Inc. Presents DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW, Beginning 11/23

Dashing Through The Snow opens Friday, November 23rd and runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm weekends through December 14th. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors or students with ID. Group rates are available for all performances.

Four days before Christmas in the tiny town of Tinsel, Texas, Trina, the harried yet upbeat keeper of the Snowflake Inn is dealing with some crazy lodgers. Hoyt and his sister, Donna Jo, make the mistake of trying to end a thirty-year feud between their curmudgeonly aunts. Ainsley and Lenora, self-involved actors from a lower-than-low-budget touring production of A Christmas Carol, leave comedic chaos in their wake. Even Mrs. Claus and one of Santa's elves attempt a romantic rendezvous. A demanding guest who refuses to leave and a tipsy housekeeper top Trina’s naughty list as she tries to keep her Christmas spirit. But a spur-of-the-moment Christmas Eve wedding that brings together the fabulous Futrelle sisters takes a surprising turn that will leave audiences laughing, and perhaps a little more tolerant of their own family holidays this year!

SPECIAL EVENTS

Stage Door Inc. is a GLBT friendly theatre. Saturday, December 1st will be Stage Door’s OUT@SDI night. Starting at 7:00pm before the 8:00pm show there will be complimentary snacks and drinks in the lobby for GLBT audience members, their friends and family.

There will be a special “Pay What You Can” Performance on Thursday, December 6th at 8:00pm; donations of at least $5 are suggested.

Stage Door Inc. is a local, community theatre located inside the Pasadena Town Square Mall. Voted Best Family Entertainment Venue in Pasadena for the last two years in a row by the Pasadena Citizen readers, Stage Door is a true “community” theater. They partner with the Pasadena Strawberry Festival and are proud members of both the Pasadena and Deer Park Chambers of Commerce.

Stage Door’s 5th Season opens in January with a lineup including audience voted favorites: Rent, Little Shop of Horrors, Evil Dead: The Musical and Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Season tickets are on sale now!
