Check out a behind the scenes look at a "Fight Call" for Main Street Theater's production of Calderon's Life Is a Dream!

Life Is a Dream by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, translated and adapted by Nilo Cruz, runs through Oct. 21 at Main Street Theater in Rice Village.

A woman seeking revenge on her former lover. Cousins vying for the throne. A prisoner grappling with what is rightfully his. A king questioning destiny. Everyone fighting for their lives. Life Is a Dream is an intense and marvelously human tale of passionate people striving to do what’s right: either for themselves or for the world – and they don’t always coincide.

This beautiful play is very rarely produced. For tickets, scheduling and more about the production, visit www.MainStreetTheater.com.
